Edit a Shipment

Users can make changes to a shipment after it has been created, whether the shipment is active or expired. For example, if a shipment's weight changes, a delivery pickup time changes, or the exact location for pickup or delivery changes, a broker user can edit the shipment in the system to reflect the change.

Users can edit the following fields on an active or expired load:

 
  • Equipment type
  • Load size
  • Description
  • Total weight
  • Comments
  • Pick up location
  • Pick up date
  • Pick up time
  • Delivery location
  • Delivery date
  • Delivery time
  • Target price
  • Contact information

Note: The same fields that are required when creating a load are required when editing a load as well.


To edit an active or expired shipment in the Truckloads system, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the desired shipment.
  2. Click the settings icon. Then, click Edit.
  3. Make any necessary changes.
  4. Click Save Changes.
